Reflecting

Bridging the dimensions seemed the perfect solution to overpopulation. The alarmists warned of consequences but we had no desire to listen. Now their warnings are naught but echoes and we are merely shadows.

This story was written for the weekly Trifextra micro-fiction writing challenge. The challenge was to create a story of exactly 33 words based on the photo prompt.
