Business After Pleasure

Copyright - Jan Wayne Fields
He handled his boat with consummate skill as he navigated his way past half a hundred similar ones cluttering the bay. He smiled at the dichotomy of his situation. While his boat did, in point of fact, qualify as a pleasure craft it was work that saw him powering outward to the deeper waters today.

The pleasure of the previous three days and nights as he subjected his unwilling captive to a, seemingly, endless variety of degradations both physical and psychological had left him with the unpleasant necessity of disposing of her bloodied husk. Ah well, business after pleasure, he mused.

This story was written for the weekly Friday Fictioneers flash fiction photo prompt.

  1. Good stuff. Liked the whole business vs pleasure bit.

  2. Yikes! Very American Psycho. What kind of designer clothes was he wearing?
